ItsMine Production Release #1

Date: July 7, 2026

Release Summary

This is the first production test release of ItsMine, focused on the complete first-customer experience: install the Windows app, create a Memory Vault, pair an iPhone, scan the photo library, and bring memories home into the Vault.

Verified in live testing

  • Windows installer launches and displays the approved EULA.
  • Memory Vault setup creates the Vault folder automatically.
  • Desktop update checking works from the website manifest.
  • iPhone TestFlight app can pair with ItsMine Desktop using QR pairing.
  • License and coupon flow is wired to the website license API.
  • The iPhone can scan a real photo library and report photo/video counts.
  • The iPhone can bring memories home to the Windows Memory Vault.
  • Vault copies are verified before the phone is allowed to consider cleanup.
  • Live Photos are preserved with still images and motion when available.
  • The Memory Vault displays thumbnails, timeline filters, albums, favorites, and search terms.
  • Videos can be opened and played in the built-in ItsMine viewer.
  • Video covers can be saved from the current playback frame.
  • Folder consolidation can move local photos/videos into the Vault with safe cleanup warnings.
  • The Dashboard now shows live upload progress and estimated time remaining.
  • The Memory Viewer now supports previous/next navigation through the current timeline or album.

Known limitations for this production test

  • Passive always-on Windows service mode is not enabled yet; the desktop app must remain open during testing.
  • Large first imports over Wi-Fi can take many hours.
  • iOS may slow or pause transfer if the app is backgrounded; keep the iPhone plugged in and ItsMine open during the first large import.
  • USB first-import mode is not included in this build.
  • Windows code signing is not configured yet, so Windows may still show unknown-publisher warnings.
